Humans are technologists: we build tools and systems to improve the environment around us. Interact is a community of technologists — artists, engineers, designers, founders, scientists, writers, community builders, and more. We share an enthusiasm for making intentional impact, and find joy in thoughtful conversations. Our ambition is that this community will, in its own humble way, help move the world forward.
Interact Fellows meet twice annually for a fully-sponsored retreat, joining a community of technologists from around the world. We come together to collaborate, seek out difficult conversations, and push each other towards contemplation and action. Applications close February 15th at 11:59pm PST.

interact is like that secret society where you open idk a painting into a library and a few folks are discussing the meaning of life, and you join in, and you all become best friends, and then one goes on to found the next unicorn and another like reinvents art
except for real
i joined interact in 2014 and it consistently creates a sense of home, cwherever i am:
* got to know folks who are now best friends
* have people in every city when i travel
* create some really profound things, together

Interact was founded in 2012. Every year since, new Fellows have been welcomed into Interact, which is voluntarily organized and led by former Fellows. This year marks Interact’s tenth Fellowship cohort.
Over the past decade, Interacters have built friendships, co-founded ventures, and supported one another in achieving their missions. We share an enthusiasm for making intentional impact and find joy in thoughtful conversations.
